On the EP ‘Vain Regrets’,released on 22 March, Frank Renfordt breaks new ground: whereas he has mostly left the singing to others in the past, he now sings all the songs himself. Even without the typical country ‘Southern growl’, he hits the heart of this diverse genre. He also produced five of the six songs himself.

With ‘Vain Regrets’, Frank Renfordt once again demonstrates his talent for catchy, organically produced songs with depth, in the best American songwriting tradition.
