Legendary broadcaster Bob Harris has shared an exciting update for country music fans and beyond.
Celebrating six years since the premiere of the film Wild Rose, Harris reminisced about his involvement in the project alongside his son, Dylan, and praised the phenomenal talent of Jessie Buckley. Fans can look forward to a stage adaptation of Wild Rose, starring Dawn Sievewright, with rehearsals set to begin in Scotland early next year. Harris and his son will both have roles in this highly anticipated production.

In addition to this theatrical venture, Harris confirmed that he will continue hosting the beloved BBC Radio 2 Country Show, despite his new role on the station’s Sounds of the 70’s. Harris emphasized his unwavering dedication to the country music community, stating that his heart remains with the players and the fans. He will also return to host the main stage at the C2C Festival at The O2 in London in 2025, marking his twelfth year at the event.
