The Grand Ole Opry, the iconic Nashville-based country music venue, has announced a spectacular event to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2025. Dubbed “Opry 100,” the celebration will feature a special concert at London’s historic Royal Albert Hall, marking the first time the Opry has held an event outside the United States.
The centennial celebration will kick off with a performance at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on January 3, 2025, led by Country Music Hall of Famer Bill Anderson. Throughout the year, the Opry will host a series of tribute shows called “Opry 100 Honors,” saluting legendary artists such as Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Hank Williams.

The Royal Albert Hall concert, scheduled for the autumn of 2025, will feature an all-star cast of country music legends and rising stars, showcasing the rich and diverse musical styles within the genre. Fans will also have the opportunity to vote for the Opry’s 100 greatest country songs, with a portion of ticket sales going towards the Opry Trust Fund, which assists members of the country music community in need.
This event will take place at the Royal Albert Hall, the iconic venue known for hosting the Highways festival. Highways celebrates the very best of country music, offering fans the opportunity to enjoy live performances from an array of talented artists.
Dan Rogers, SVP and Executive Producer of the Grand Ole Opry, expressed excitement about the upcoming celebration, stating, “This centennial is not just a look back – it’s a celebration of the future of country music and the artists who continue to shape its story.”
Country music fans around the world are eagerly anticipating this milestone event, which promises to be a memorable celebration of the Opry’s rich history and bright future. Tickets go on sale on October 18th 2024 for Opry 100 events.
