Meninadanca is a UK-based life-changing charity that works with girls at social risk in communities along the BR-116, Brazil’s ‘exploitation highway’. This charity uses dance and other creative activities to reach, empower, and protect girls who are robbed of their childhoods and futures by exploitation and abuse. Meninadanca provides safe spaces, counselling, education, and justice for hundreds of girls who have no one else to turn to. Meninadanca also raises awareness and challenges the culture of violence and oppression that fuels the demand for child prostitution. Meninadanca is not just a charity, it is a movement of hope and transformation.
By supporting Meninadanca, you can help change the beat for these girls and give them a chance to dance, dream, and thrive.
