Now based in Nashville, Amy holds the distinction of being the most-played Australian female artist on country radio between 2022 and 2023.
Amy shares about the single, saying: “‘Overthinking’ is my biggest and boldest single to date; it’s country but with a big serve of pop-rock swirled in the mix. Like My Whiskey from Rising Country Star Jessie G
Co-written by the talented duo Jessica Goergen and Matthew Hundley, ‘Like My Whiskey‘ is a song that encapsulates the essence of country music with its themes of strength, resilience, and the complexities of love and relationships. The song cleverly uses whiskey as a metaphor, brilliantly conveyed in the chorus, ‘I like my men like I Like my whiskey, A shot of him and I’m feeling frisky,’ which sets a tone that’s both playful and poignant.
“Like My Whiskey” follows Jessie G.’s self-titled EP, released in 2019 to critical acclaim, and fan-favorite singles including “Timeless” and “You Lit a Fire.” After wrapping a national tour in 2023 that saw Jessie traversing the country and hitting classic country music venues, the new year will see the singer releasing her next album.

Earl Jam: A Tribute To Earl Scruggs
When banjo extraordinaire Tony Trischka opened his mail one afternoon during the height of the Covid lockdown, he certainly wasn’t expecting to get a visit from his old pal, the late great Earl Scruggs. Of course, it wasn’t Earl at the door, but a mysterious thumb drive full of rare recordings of Scruggs jamming with John Hartford, mostly taken from private gatherings at Earl’s house during the 80s and 90s.
Naturally, Trischka couldn’t wait to get his friends and colleagues together to flesh out this new material in the studio, and it wasn’t long before Earl Jam: A Tribute To Earl Scruggs—a brand-new album to be released late spring via Down The Road—came to be.
Fans can stream or purchase “Brown’s Ferry Blues” here and pre-order or pre-save Earl Jam ahead of its late spring release on Down The Road right here.
