Rising stars First Time Flyers have officially announced the release of their debut album, Bound To Break, set to drop on September 12th via Lookout Mountain Records. The announcement follows an electric start to 2025, including a sold-out UK tour and widespread acclaim for their previous single, Out Of Your Mind, which made waves on BBC Radio 2 and all UK country stations.
To mark the news, the band has released their brand-new single, Stay, which is already captivating audiences everywhere. Inspired by personal experiences, Poppy Fardell from the band shares how the poignant ballad explores the delicate balance of staying in a relationship filled with both emotional challenges and rewarding moments. She reflects, “It’s about someone navigating the choice to support a partner with deep emotional scars while also questioning self-preservation. Have they already fallen too hard?”
Stay debuted on BBC Radio 2’s Vernon Kay show on March 14th, coinciding with the launch of the Country 2 Country Festival (C2C). First Time Flyers embraced the stage with fervor, performing to packed audiences at the Indigo and Big Entrance stages, securing their spot as one of the festival’s highlights.
With excitement building for the release of Bound To Break, the band is ready to take their music on the road. Their biggest UK headline tour to date kicks off in Manchester on September 17th and promises to bring unforgettable performances to fans across the country. The summer months will also be jam-packed with festival appearances, ensuring 2025 remains unstoppable for First Time Flyers.
