The Academy of Country Music (ACM) has officially unveiled the nominees for its 60th annual awards, marking a monumental milestone in the history of country music. Hosted by the legendary Reba McEntire, the awards ceremony promises to be a star-studded event, streaming live on May 8 from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
This year’s nominations are led by breakout artist Ella Langley, who has secured an impressive eight nods. Langley’s nominations include Female Artist of the Year, New Female Artist of the Year, and six additional nominations for her hit collaboration with Riley Green, “You Look Like You Love Me.” The song has been recognized in categories such as Single of the Year, Song of the Year, Music Event of the Year, and Visual Media of the Year, showcasing Langley‘s versatility as both an artist and a director. Riley Green’s Damn Country Music Tour comes to the UK in September 2025.

Close behind Langley are Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson, each earning seven nominations. Johnson’s standout year includes nominations for Entertainer of the Year and Song of the Year, while Wallen continues his streak with a third consecutive nomination for Entertainer of the Year. Wilson, the reigning Entertainer of the Year, is once again in the running, solidifying her status as a powerhouse in the industry.
The nominations also highlight a mix of seasoned veterans and fresh faces. Chris Stapleton, a six-time nominee this year, joins the ranks alongside newcomers like The Red Clay Strays and Zach Top, who have made their mark with nominations in Group of the Year and Album of the Year, respectively.

The 60th ACM Awards will not only honour the best in country music but also celebrate six decades of the genre’s rich history. Fans can look forward to performances by iconic artists such as Blake Shelton, Eric Church, and Lainey Wilson, making it a night to remember. Eric Church, formerly nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year, will soon headline the Highways Festival at the Royal Albert Hall in May 2025.
