Tyler Braden has announced British country artist Chanel Yates as the special guest for his five-date The Days of Gold Tour across the UK in February 2027.
It is a pairing that will bring two distinctly different styles of modern country music to the same stage. Braden’s powerful, rock-edged approach will be preceded each night by Yates’ more contemporary country-pop sound, giving audiences a broader snapshot of where country music sits on both sides of the Atlantic.
The tour begins at New Century in Manchester on 6 February before heading to Glasgow, Birmingham and Cambridge, finishing at London’s KOKO on 11 February.
Demand is already strong. Birmingham’s O2 Academy 2 show has sold out, while tickets for Manchester, Glasgow, Cambridge and London are now being advertised as running low.
Two different sides of contemporary country
Alabama-born Tyler Braden has built his reputation around a muscular blend of country and rock, with a powerful vocal style that lends itself naturally to the live stage. His music frequently pushes towards the heavier end of contemporary country, combining Nashville songwriting with the scale and energy of a rock show.
Chanel Yates, by contrast, represents a distinctly British take on the genre. Her music leans towards modern country-pop, pairing conversational songwriting and an unmistakably English vocal with melodies that draw as readily from contemporary pop as they do from Nashville.
That contrast should make Yates an intriguing opener rather than simply a smaller version of the headline act. Where Braden brings the grit and power, Yates offers something lighter and more playful, while both remain rooted in the storytelling that connects much of today’s country music.
The tour also arrives as Yates continues to make inroads with UK country audiences. Her latest exposure includes breaking into the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart Top 50, adding further momentum ahead of the February dates.
