Brown Horse offers a compelling blend of country rock steeped in the rich traditions of 70s folk and country, fused with the raw energy of 90s alternative rock. Hailing from Norwich, England, this six-piece band has crafted an authentic sound that’s both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. Since their beginnings in 2018 as a folk quartet performing old-time standards and original material across English pubs, Brown Horse has evolved significantly. Following a pandemic hiatus, their 2022 reunion saw an expanded line-up and a shift towards a more guitar-driven country-rock style. Their journey has been punctuated by the release of two studio albums, with the latest, All the Right Weaknesses, released in April 2025 under Loose Music. This second album continues to build on their distinct blend of influences with compelling songwriting and musicianship.
