Emerging from Norwich, England, this six-piece ensemble artfully fuses 90s alternative rock grit with the folk and country sensibilities of the 70s. What began as a folk quartet in 2018, performing intimate covers and original music in English pubs, swiftly evolved into a dynamic collective enriched by expanded instrumentation and a bold sonic direction after their 2022 reunion.
At the heart of their sound lies a collaborative songwriting spirit, featuring Emma Tovell’s commanding vocals and guitar, Nyle Holihan’s melodic riffs and harmonies, Patrick Turner’s underpinning bass and vocal layers, Rowan Braham’s rhythmic foundations, along with Ben Auld’s keyboards and Phoebe Troup’s evocative violin. Their artistic journey includes their 2023 debut album Reservoir, warmly received by critics and fans alike.
