Derek Ryan UK Tour 2027

Derek Ryan, a celebrated Irish singer-songwriter, returns to the UK with his 2027 tour, continuing to bridge the worlds of traditional Irish music and contemporary country styles. Rising from the rich musical heritage of Garryhill, County Carlow, Derek’s early achievements in bodhrn and ceil dancing competitions laid the groundwork for his vibrant solo career following his time with the successful Irish pop group D-Side.

His music resonates deeply with fans of heartfelt storytelling and melodic craftsmanship. Derek’s 2024 album, Long Shot Love, exemplifies this blend vividly, featuring a collection of 12 original songs enriched by collaborations with the Kilfenora Ceil Band and vocalist Olivia Douglas. These tracks continue to highlight his ability to weave traditional sounds seamlessly with modern country narratives, making his live performances a compelling experience for both Irish and international audiences.
