Jake Bugg – Alamo Solo Acoustic Tour 2027
Jake Bugg, the English singer-songwriter renowned for his unique fusion of indie rock, folk, and Americana, embarks on his Alamo Solo Acoustic Tour 2027 in support of his forthcoming seventh studio album, Alamo. The album is set for release on 13 November 2026, marking a notable return to Bugg’s folk roots with introspective and raw themes. The lead single, “Never Can Tell,” offers a preview of this deeply personal work produced by Jimmy Hogarth and Steve McKewan.
Originating from Nottingham, Jake Bugg began his musical journey at just 12 years old, influenced by iconic artists such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Jimi Hendrix. Since his critically acclaimed self-titled 2012 debut — which earned him a Mercury Prize nomination — Bugg has evolved continually, delving into societal inequality and personal introspection in his 2024 album A Modern Day Distraction. The deluxe edition, released in November 2025, introduced new compositions like “Oblivious,” which have reinforced his reputation as a poignant songwriter.
The 2027 solo acoustic tour will allow fans to experience Jake’s music in a stripped-back setting, lending an intimate atmosphere to his storytelling and melodies. On Saturday 20 February, he will perform at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool, an iconic venue that hosts nearly 400 concerts annually and is home to the prestigious Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. With a capacity exceeding 1,700, the Philharmonic Hall is a fitting stage for an artist whose music bridges folk-rooted storytelling with contemporary sensibilities.
