Jake Bugg returns to the UK and Ireland in 2027 with his “Alamo Solo Acoustic Tour,” supporting his eagerly anticipated seventh studio album, Alamo, due for release on 13 November 2026. The tour includes a date at the Bristol Beacon, where Bugg will showcase his trademark blend of indie rock, folk, and Americana in an intimate solo acoustic setting.

Emerging from Nottingham as a precocious songwriter, Jake Bugg has drawn inspiration from iconic figures such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Jimi Hendrix since he began playing music at the age of 12. His self-titled debut album, released in 2012, earned widespread critical acclaim and a Mercury Prize nomination, launching a career marked by continual artistic growth. His 2024 album, A Modern Day Distraction, ventured into themes of societal inequality and introspection, while the deluxe edition featured additional tracks highlighting his songwriting depth.

Alamo represents a return to the folk roots that underpin much of Bugg’s sound, with production by Jimmy Hogarth and Steve McKewan. The lead single, “Never Can Tell,” hints at the album’s introspective and raw tone. Bugg’s decision to present this new material on a solo acoustic tour promises a stripped-back experience putting his evocative lyrics and melodies in sharp focus.
