State Fayre 2027
Festival Republic
State Fayre made an impressive debut in 2026, bringing a fresh Americana-inspired festival to Hylands Park in Chelmsford from 26–28 June. Billed as the UK’s biggest music and BBQ festival, the three-day event blended rock, country, folk and Americana across multiple stages while celebrating Southern US culture with its sprawling FUME Pit barbecue experience, craft drinks, fairground attractions and boutique camping. Just 30 minutes from London, the inaugural festival attracted music fans from across the UK with a line-up that balanced global headliners with some of the brightest emerging names in country music.
For country fans, State Fayre delivered one of the strongest UK festival line-ups of the summer. Alongside headline appearances from Kings of Leon, Alanis Morissette and The Lumineers, the bill featured standout performances from Kip Moore, Orville Peck, Stephen Wilson Jr., Molly Tuttle, Sierra Ferrell, Avery Anna, Max McNown, Dylan Gossett, Leah Blevins, Kezia Gill and McGrath, reflecting the festival’s commitment to showcasing both established stars and the next generation of Americana talent. With strong crowds, an ambitious production and a distinctive identity that combines live music with authentic food and festival experiences, State Fayre has established itself as an exciting new addition to the UK’s summer festival calendar.
Building on the success of its inaugural edition, organisers have already confirmed that State Fayre will return to Hylands Park from 18–20 June 2027. Announcing the news just days after the festival closed, they thanked fans for making “last weekend one for the history books” before revealing that early bird weekend tickets will go on sale at 10am on Wednesday 8 July. Festivalgoers will once again be able to spread the cost of their tickets, with deposits starting from just £30 through Ticketmaster Instalments, as State Fayre looks to cement its place as one of the UK’s premier destinations for country, Americana and roots music.
