The Tumbling Paddies UK Tour 2026

The Tumbling Paddies bring their vibrant blend of Irish folk and modern country music to Birmingham as part of The Tumbling Paddies UK Tour 2026. This energetic six-piece from County Fermanagh have quickly captured attention with their unique Trad/Pop sound, fusing traditional Irish instruments like the banjo, accordion, and fiddle with contemporary pop, rock, and country influences. Their music skillfully crosses English and Irish language vocals, often switching between the two to add depth and character.

Formed by friends who met at school, The Tumbling Paddies have built a reputation on infectious original songs and spirited covers. Their songwriting, primarily by lead vocalist Gareth Maguire in collaboration with renowned Irish country artist Derek Ryan, draws inspiration from personal experiences and Irish heritage, bringing both humour and heartfelt emotion to their music. Highlights from their repertoire include the feel-good anthem “The Way I Am,” the lively pub-themed “Night On The Town,” and the evocative “Spancil Hill,” a ballad about longing for home.

Most recently, they released the single “Closing Time” in October 2025, continuing to develop their signature sound that resonates with fans across Ireland and the UK. Their shows are celebrated for lively performances that invite audience participation through dance, singalongs, and undeniable charm.
