The Tumbling Paddies UK Tour 2026

The Tumbling Paddies UK Tour 2026 brings the spirited fusion of Irish tradition and contemporary sounds to Manchester’s iconic O2 Ritz. Hailing from County Fermanagh, the six-piece ensemble has quickly earned acclaim with their blending of Irish folk instruments like fiddle, banjo, and accordion with modern country, pop, and rock influences, creating a distinctive Trad/Pop identity that resonates deeply with audiences.

The band’s energetic performances and catchy original songs, many penned by lead vocalist Gareth Maguire alongside renowned Irish country singer Derek Ryan who also produces their music, capture themes of personal authenticity, camaraderie, and the enduring pull of home. Their latest single, “Closing Time,” released in October 2025, continues to showcase their talent for crafting engaging melodies that marry tradition and modernity.

Comprising Gareth Maguire, Ryan McGovern, Ciaran McElroy, Conor McManus, Darragh O’Reilly, and Niall Murphy, The Tumbling Paddies effortlessly switch between English and Irish within songs, adding layers of cultural richness. Their music evokes the spirit of artists such as Derek Ryan, Mumford and Sons, and The Dubliners, while infusing fresh rhythmic elements, including rap verses, and lively fiddle solos that invite participation and dance.
