Originating from County Fermanagh, Ireland, this young six-piece band has rapidly gained attention for their infectious original songs and innovative interpretations of traditional covers. Their style combines traditional Irish instruments like the banjo, accordion, and fiddle with contemporary pop and country elements, enriched occasionally with rock and rap influences, making their sound truly distinctive.

The ensemble includes Gareth Maguire (lead vocals, guitar, banjo), Ryan McGovern (vocals, guitar, mandolin), Ciaran McElroy (vocals, accordion, keyboard), Conor McManus (vocals, bass guitar), Darragh O’Reilly (vocals, drums, percussion), and Niall Murphy (vocals, fiddle, whistle). Their songwriting partnership with Derek Ryan adds depth and authenticity to their catchy and heartfelt tunes.

Their verified latest single, “Closing Time,” released in October 2025, showcases their evolving artistry within this vibrant mix of genres. Fans of The Tumbling Paddies appreciate songs like “The Way I Am,” with its upbeat celebration of individuality and engaging rap verses, and “Night On The Town,” which captures the lively spirit of a night out Irish style.
