Steve Earle is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, author, and actor who has been active since 1968. He is known for his eclectic musical style that blends country, rock, bluegrass, folk, and blues genres. He has released over 20 studio albums and won three Grammy awards for Best Contemporary Folk Album. Some of his most popular songs include "Guitar Town", "Copperhead Road", and "The Galway Girl". He has also collaborated with many other artists such as Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, and his late son Justin Townes Earle.
