The Americana Music Association UK (AMA-UK) celebrates an exciting new chapter with A Special Evening of Music at London’s iconic KOKO in Camden on Wednesday 20 January 2027. Bringing together an outstanding line-up of international and British talent, the concert will feature Steve Earle, Frazey Ford, Kezia Gill, Elles Bailey and Jonny Morgan & The Moral Support, offering a memorable evening of country, folk, blues and Americana in support of the association’s relaunch.

American singer-songwriter Steve Earle leads the line-up, returning to a London stage for the first time since 2018. One of the most influential figures in contemporary Americana, Earle has spent more than four decades blending country, folk and rock, producing landmark recordings including Guitar Town and Copperhead Road. His distinctive storytelling and uncompromising approach to songwriting have made him an enduring figure in roots music, and his appearance promises to be a highlight of the evening.

Joining him is Canadian singer-songwriter Frazey Ford, making her first London appearance since 2021. Formerly a member of acclaimed folk group The Be Good Tanyas, Ford has developed a distinctive solo sound that brings together Americana, folk and soul. Her expressive vocals and deeply personal songwriting have earned her an international following, making her a compelling addition to the concert.

British country music will be strongly represented by Kezia Gill, whose powerful vocals, energetic performances and blend of country, blues and rock have established her as one of the UK’s leading independent country artists. Alongside her, Elles Bailey brings her unmistakable smoky voice and soulful combination of blues, Americana and roots music. Completing the line-up are Jonny Morgan & The Moral Support, whose contemporary Americana sound combines heartfelt storytelling, folk influences and rich musical arrangements.

The concert forms the centrepiece of AMA-UK’s return following a period of restructuring, with the organisation introducing a renewed membership programme and plans to expand its support for artists and the wider Americana community across the UK. Although the traditional UK Americana Awards, industry conference and showcase festival will not take place in January 2027, the association is working towards restoring its full annual celebration in 2028.

Set within the historic surroundings of KOKO, one of Camden’s best-known live music venues, this special concert offers country and Americana fans a rare opportunity to see five distinctive performers and groups sharing one bill. From Steve Earle’s legendary songwriting to the rising profile of Britain’s independent country and roots scene, the evening promises to celebrate both Americana’s rich musical heritage and its continuing evolution.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 6 November 2026. AMA-UK subscribers can access an exclusive discounted presale from 10am on Wednesday 4 November, with tickets priced at £40 plus booking fees through the association’s dedicated subscriber offer.
