Taynee Lord is a rising star in the UK country music scene, known for her powerful vocals and rebellious attitude. She leads the band Taynee Lord & The Crookes, which formed in Bristol in 2018 and released their debut EP ‘If Only’ in 2019. In 2020, they scored a number one hit on the UK iTunes country music charts with their single ‘No God Of Mine’, which also earned them a chance to perform for Glastonbury Festival founder Michael Eavis. Taynee Lord & The Crookes deliver music for sunsets and highways, blending country roots with pop sensibilities and tackling thorny issues like politics, feminism and race.
Taynee Lord headlined the 2022’s Glastonbury Calling Festival and supported Scouting for Girls at multiple festivals around the UK along with the surprise release of her single ‘Boy with the Eye'.
2023 has already been exciting for Taynee with the release of her new single ‘Love Hard’ which has been featured by BBC Introducing and already loved by radio stations worldwide.
