The UK Country Radio Airplay Chart has been a groundbreaking initiative for the country music scene in the UK. Launched in March 2024, the chart has published its top ranked songs every week since its inception. It is a collaborative effort between Radiomonitor, a leading global radio airplay monitoring company, and the Country Music Association’s (CMA) UK Task Force—a coalition of industry leaders devoted to promoting country music within the UK. Spearheaded by Alexandra Hannaby, Head of Big Machine Label Group UK and CMA UK Task Force member, this chart is the first genre-specific radio chart established in the UK.
These awards not only celebrate the achievements of country artists over the past year but also set the tone for annual recognition of excellence in the genre. The UK Country Radio Airplay Chart continues to be a vital force in the industry, showcasing the country music scene’s ever-growing influence and talent.
